Chemistry is when it bangs and stinks. And then the fire brigade arrives. Prof Roland Goertz is a safety chemist and deals with explosions, fires, substance releases and other chemical accidents on a daily basis, especially with their prevention.

On 24 April 2025 at 16:30 in lecture theatre 4 (Gbd. 30.41, 1st floor) he will tell us about his everyday life.

After the lecture there will be beer and pretzels.
