On 20 March 2025, we invite you to an exciting IMPULSE evening at TRIANGEL am KIT as part of the Health Knowledge Week. Look forward to inspiring insights into the world of health tech innovations and an interactive discussion round with start-ups that are shaping the future of healthcare.
 
The focus is on these three KIT start-ups in the HealthTech sector:
 
NOXON develops bionic clothing that revolutionises freedom of movement and rehabilitation. The smart, flexible sensors measure muscle activity and activate specific muscles using functional electrical stimulation (FES). The result is a lightweight, wearable garment that promotes muscle health – perfect for rehabilitation after sports injuries.
 
LIFTWISE brings the gym of the future to you. With a minimalist wristband and NFC tags on the weights, the system automatically measures your training results, analyses your form and gives you direct feedback. This makes strength training smarter, more effective and completely paperless.
 
corvolution is a med-tech start-up that develops innovative products and services for cardiovascular prevention and diagnostics. The solutions help to identify risks at an early stage and to initiate targeted individual health measures.
 
After the start-ups’ pitches, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in an interactive session and learn more about the technologies, challenges and visions of the founding teams.
 

The “Kinder bewegen” congress will take place on March 21-22, 2025. 
Organized by the Institute of Sport and Sport Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Badischer Turner-Bund, the tenth edition of the congress is planned with exciting impulses, workshops and numerous specialist exhibitors. The congress will take place over two days, with the first day (MoMo Study 2.0 - DATA for Fields of Action) being the responsibility of the IfSS (KIT) and the second day (full of ACTION in the gymnasium) being the responsibility of the BTB. The joint title “Data for Action” nevertheless reflects the cooperation.
The first part of the event will take place on March 21, 2025 in the Audimax building of the KIT with the dvs Health Commission. On this website you will find all important information and soon also the complete program.
The second part will take place on March 22, 2025 at the Traugott-Bender-Sportpark in Karlsruhe. Participants will gain insights into the “deeds” of promoting physical activity in children in around 40 varied practical workshops, which can be linked to the previous day. Once again this year, exercise instructors will have the opportunity to partially extend their license by participating in the second day of the congress (8 hours).

Die Kunstsammlung am ehemaligen Forschungszentrum ist seit dem Ende der 1960er Jahre entstanden. Die Sammlung soll der Förderung von Interaktionen zwischen Wissenschaft und Kunst dienen. Dabei liegt das Augenmerk beim Erwerb vorrangig auf der Unterstützung junger, regionaler und inzwischen sehr namhafter Künstler."
 
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt auf 20 Personen.

The KIT Department of Economics and Management invites you to the “Dialogtag - Business & Technology” on June 26, 2025! In line with the Science Year 2025 and the focus topic of the 200th anniversary of KIT, the guiding theme of the Dialogtag is: “Affordable and Reliable Energy”. We are very pleased that Prof. Antonio J. Conejo, Professor at the Integrated System Engineering Department and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Ohio State University, will give a keynote speech. In addition, doctoral researches will give insights into current research projects in the “WiWi Junior Research Talks”.
The Dialogtag will conclude with the annual faculty celebration and the presentation of the science awards as well as a get-together. All employees, students of the Department of Economics and Management and other interested parties are cordially invited.

On October 19, 2025, the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) will bid farewell to two major events with music and a grand finissage. The finissage of the anniversary exhibition “200 Years of KIT - 100 Objects. Parts of the whole. Selected Objects from the History of KIT” and the conclusion of the event series Art | Summer | Technology.
Experts from the Karlsruhe art scene will shed light on the background to the numerous exhibitions and events of the summer. With music and sparkling wine, visitors will have the last opportunity on this day to be guided through the anniversary exhibition by the curator and to talk to the organizers of the Art | Summer | Technology event series.
